Abstract

Berdasarkan Indeks Persepsi Korupsi (Corruption Perceptions Index/CPI) 2024 oleh Transparency International, Indonesia memperoleh skor 37 dari 100 dan menempati peringkat 99 dari 180 negara, menandakan tingkat korupsi yang masih tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan antara perceived behavioral control (PBC) dengan intention to corruption serta menguji peran moral disengagement sebagai mediator. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan teknik convenience sampling, melibatkan 348 mahasiswa aktif dari perguruan tinggi negeri dan swasta di Surabaya. Instrumen penelitian berupa skala intention to corruption, perceived behavioral control, dan moral disengagement yang telah diuji validitas (daya beda aitem) dan reliabilitas. Analisis data dilakukan dengan PROCESS Macro by Hayes pada SPSS melalui uji outlier, normalitas residual, linearitas mediasi, one sample t- test, serta uji mediasi dengan bootstrapping. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan langsung positif yang signifikan antara perceived behavioral control dan intention to corruption (total effect) dengan koefisien = 0,279 (p <0,001). Selain itu, terdapat efek tidak langsung yang signifikan melalui moral disengagement (indirect effect = 0,223; p<0,000; CI 95% [0,135–0,320]), sehingga moral disengagement memediasi hubungan perceived behavioral control dengan intention to corruption. Dengan demikian, hipotesis pertama (H1) dan kedua (H2) diterima. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi perceived behavioral control mahasiswa tanpa diiringi penguatan moral yang memadai, semakin besar kecenderungan munculnya niat melakukan korupsi melalui mekanisme moral disengagement. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi acuan bagi perguruan tinggi dalam menyusun program penguatan karakter dan pendidikan antikorupsi yang lebih efektif.
