Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between career plateau and burnout with turnover intention among employees. Data were collected form 169 respondents using career plateau, burnout, turnover intention scales. Spearman Rho analysis showed a significant positive relationship between career plateau (r = 0,249; p = 0,001) and burnout (r = 0,808; p = 0,000) with turover intention. These results indicate that the higher the level of burnout and perceived career plateau, the greater the employee’s desire to leave the organization. This study is expected to contribute to organizational efforts in managing career development an employee well-being.
