Abstract

Insulation Resistance (IR) adalah parameter yang digunakan untuk mengukur sejauh mana bahan isolasi mampu menahan aliran arus listrik, dengan memberikan hambatan yang cukup besar terhadap aliran tersebut. IR menjadi indikator penting dalam menjaga keandalan sistem kelistrikan, terutama pada peralatan seperti generator. Tahanan isolasi yang rendah menunjukkan adanya penurunan kualitas isolasi, yang dapat memicu terjadinya kebocoran arus listrik. Jika kebocoran ini tidak segera diatasi, maka berpotensi terjadi gangguan operasional, seperti kerusakan peralatan bahkan kegagalan total pada sistem pembangkit listrik menjadi sangat tinggi. Faktor – faktor yang memengaruhi penurunan kualitas IR meliputi suhu lingkungan yang tinggi, tingkat kelembapan udara yang berlebihan, serta kondisi ruangan yang tidak memadai, seperti kurangnya ventilasi atau adanya kontaminasi debu dan kotoran. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis data tahanan isolasi yang diukur antara rotor – body dan stator – body. Data yang dianalisis dari generator AC dengan kapasitas maksimal 3,6 MW pada PT. PLN NUSANTARA POWER UP BRANTAS SIMAN. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi sisa umur operasional dari generator 1 dan generator 3 di PLTA Siman. Proses prediksi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode perhitungan matematis berbasis data uji insulation resistance yang dikumpulkan dari 2018 hingga 2024. Dengan pendekatan ini, diharapkan dapat diperoleh estimasi yang akurat mengenai sisa umur generator, yang selanjutnya menjadi dasar untuk perencanaan pemeliharaan dan pengelolaan aset secara optimal. Berdasarkan referensi usia operasional dasar generator, di mana generator umumnya dirancang untuk dapat beroperasi hingga 30 tahun, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sisa umur rotor dan stator generator 1 diperkirakan 10 tahun lagi dari tahun 2024. Sementara itu, untuk generator 3, sisa umur rotornya diperkirakan mencapai sekitar 21 tahun, dan statornya sekitar 22 tahun dari tahun yang sama. Prediksi ini dihitung dengan asumsi rata-rata load factor sebesar 77%, yang mencerminkan tingkat penggunaan generator dalam kurun waktu tersebut.
