Abstract

Kabupaten Ponorogo adalah salah satu daerah di Provinsi Jawa Timur yang memiliki kekayaan alam yang melimpah, khususnya adalah potensi batu kapur atau limestone dan batu gamping. Potensi pertambangan ini berada di daerah Kecamatan Sampung. Agregat kasar adalah batuan yang dihasilkan dari disintegrasi “alami” dari batuan yang berbentuk batuan pecah yang di dapatkan dari industri pemecah batu dan memiliki ukuran butir lebih besar dari 4,75 (ayakan no.4) (SNI 1969 - 2008). Batu kapur rata – rata memiliki nilai abrasi yang rendah sekitar < 40%, sehingga cocok digunakan untuk pengaplikasian bahan untuk konstruksi yang membutuhkan daya tahan yang tinggi. Dengan latar belakang yang telah ada, peneliti ingin melakukan penelitian tentang seberapa besar pengaruh batu kapur dari daerah Desa Sampung, Ponorogo sebagai bahan substitusi dari agregat kasar terhadap kuat tekan dari beton. Penelitian ini menggunakan substitusi batu kapur sebagai agregat kasar sebesar 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 100%. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan nilai slump pada variasi 0% mendapatkan nilai slump tertinggi lalu mengalami penurunan pada persentase 25% hingga 100% dengan nilai slump yang optimal yaitu 15,33 cm. Hasil berat isi beton mengalami kenaikan dan penurunan yang beragam setiap variasi namun semuanya masih berada pada batas SNI 03 – 2847 – 2002 tabel 8 yang menyatakan bahwa berat isi beton normal berada pada kisaran 2200 kg/m³ – 2500 kg/m³. Berdasarkan grafik rata – rata kuat tekan gabungan didapatkan hasil bahwa kuat tekan minimum pada umur 28 hari pada variasi 100% sebesar 10,65 Mpa dan kuat tekan yang paling maksimum pada umur 28 hari pada variasi 50 sebesar 14,35 Mpa. Pada pengujian resapan air beton, secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin banyak batu kapur yang ditambahkan pada beton maka semakin besar pula nilai resapan airnya. Dari semua pengujian dapat diketahui bahwa variasi batu kapur yang paling optimum menggunakan variasi campuran batu kapur 50%.
