Abstract

Public services are the government's obligation to provide convenience to the public. In an effort to improve efficiency and accessibility in Sumberame Village, Wringinanom District, Gresik Regency, a Chatbot-based Virtual Assistant integrated with WhatsApp was developed. This Chatbot was developed using the Natural Language Processing (NLP) method with the IndoBERT model, based on a dataset resulting from data collection consisting of the "Question," "Intention," and "Response" columns. The trained model was applied to the system function used to process user input so that it can recognize intent and generate a response. The system was implemented using Flask for API, hosted through Jagoan Hosting, and integrated with WhatsApp through Twilio. Testing showed that the Chatbot was able to provide appropriate responses according to user questions.
