Abstract

Masalah sampah kerap menjadi sorotan masyarakat setiap tahun, terutama karena jumlah sampah yang dihasilkan terus meningkat. Tantangan utama terkait sampah di kawasan metropolitan adalah bertambahnya volume sampah setiap tahun, sementara kapasitas tempat pengelolaan akhir (TPA) semakin terbatas. Kabupaten Trenggalek merupakan daerah yang memiliki populasi penduduk yang lumayan tinggi. Pada tahun 2020 tercatat 753.820 jiwa (local dan non local). Sehingga meyebabkan meningkatnya volume sampah disetiap tahunya. Peningkatan sampah ini terjadi karena setiap aktivitas manusia sehari-hari pasti menghasilkan limbah. TPA Srabah, yang berfungsi sebagai tempat pengelolaan akhir, berada di Kabupaten Trenggalek, tepatnya di Desa Srabah, Kecamatan Bendungan, sekitar 7 km dari pusat kota. Kemudian dari hasil penelitian warga Kabupaten Trenggalek masih kurang teredukasi terhadap permasalahan sampah sehingga pemerintah Kabupaten Trenggalek Mengupayakan penuntasan permasalahan sampah dengan sasaran meningkatkan ketersediaan sarana dan prasarana pembuangan sampah yang bertujuan menghasilkan rancangan desain baru tempat pembuangan akhir yang responsif ataupun relevan dengan pola hidup di era new normal. Tempat Pengolahan Sampah Akhir memiliki beberapa metode dalam pengolahan. Salah satunya pengolahan sampah menggunakan teknologi insenerator yang dapat memusnahkan hasil sampah an-organik dan hasil uap dapat diolah menjadi tenaga listrik yang hasilnya bisa digunakan untuk menyuplay listrik TPA ini sendiri dan sisa dari kebutuhan bisa dijual. Untuk mengedukasi masyarakat pemerintah mendirikan bangunan edukasi untuk dikunjungi sebagai tempat wisata maupun untuk tempat belajar bagaimana sampah diolah dan masih bisa digunakan kembali. Pada bangunan edukasi diterapkan konsep 3R (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle) dimana konsep ini diterapkan untuk menciptakan bangunan yang ramah lingkungan dengan meminimalkan dampak terhadap lingkungan, memanfaatkan kembali material, serta mendaur ulang limbah kontruksi.
