Abstract

Kota Madiun merupakan salah satu Kota di Provinsi Jawa Timur yang tidak memiliki potensi wisata alam namun memiliki letak yang strategis. Hal ini menjadi tantangan Kota Madiun untuk terus berinovasi mengembangkan daya tarik wisata. Selain melakukan inovasi pembangunan wisata kota, salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh Disbudapora Kota Madiun adalah dengan menyelenggarakan event Parade Senja. Adanya event Parade Senja ini tentunya dapat menjadi daya tarik Pariwisata namun agara event ini dapat dikenal oleh masyarakat luas tentunya mermerlukan adanya promosi adri pihak terkait. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi promosi Pariwisata Disbudparpora Kota Madiun dalam meningkatkan kunjungan wisatawan melalui event Parade Senja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksploratif. Dari analisis hasil temuan yang dilakukan ditemukan bahwa Disbudparpora Kota Madiun telah menerpakan elemen bauran promosi yaitu periklanan, hubungan masyarakat, dan informasi dari mulut ke mulut, serta didukung dengan penerapan teori AIDA.
