Abstract
CV Bayu Mandiri adalah perusahaan jasa percetakan yang menggunakan sistem Make to Order, di mana setiap pesanan dicetak sesuai dengan kebutuhan pelanggan. Meskipun telah beroperasi lama, perusahaan menghadapi berbagai masalah dalam tata letak lantai produksi, seperti aliran material yang tidak efisien, waktu tunggu yang tinggi, dan penggunaan ruang yang tidak optimal. Masalah tersebut berdampak pada penurunan produktivitas, ketidakefisienan waktu, serta ketidaknyamanan lingkungan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang ulang tata letak lantai produksi menggunakan metode Systematic Layout Planning (SLP) guna meningkatkan efisiensi aliran material dan produktivitas. Metode SLP membantu mengidentifikasi hubungan antar aktivitas dan merancang tata letak optimal dengan meminimalkan jarak perpindahan material, mengurangi waktu tunggu, serta menciptakan ruang kerja yang lebih nyaman. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi optimal untuk memaksimalkan efisiensi jarak dan waktu material handling, serta menunjukkan dampak positif dari perubahan tata letak terhadap biaya material handling. Penelitian ini berhasil merancang ulang tata letak fasilitas produksi guna meningkatkan efisiensi operasional. Perubahan dilakukan pada fasilitas C, D2, P, G, J, dan I, serta pemindahan mesin K dan mesin pemotong H yang tidak lagi digunakan. Hasilnya menunjukkan penurunan signifikan dalam jarak tempuh perpindahan material, dari 23.457,5 meter menjadi 13.194,65 meter per bulan (pengurangan 43,9%). Selain itu, waktu perpindahan material berkurang dari 438,41 menit menjadi 298,23 menit per bulan (pengurangan 31,98%). Perbandingan antara tata letak awal dan tata letak usulan mengungkapkan pengurangan biaya material handling dari Rp269.738 menjadi Rp206.452 per bulan, menghasilkan penghematan sebesar 23,46%.
