Abstract

CV. Berkah Sumber Abadi merupakan salah satu perusahaan distributor di Jawa Timur yang berfokus pada pendistribusian minyak goreng kemasan. Produk minyak goreng yang didistribusikan kepada para customer terdapat ukuran botol 900 ml, 700 ml, dan 400 ml. Penerapan sistem distribusi CV.Berkah Sumber Abadi menggunakan satu kali kirim setelah mendapat pesanan dari pelanggan. Sistem tersebut mengakibatkan biaya distribusi yang dikeluarkan CV. Berkah Sumber Abadi menjadi cukup besar. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut maka dibutuhkan analisa menggunakan metode Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) yang berguna untuk meminimalkan biaya distribusi sehingga perusahaan dapat mengefisiensi biaya pendistribusian. Permintaan pelanggan yang fluktuatif menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi CV. Berkah Sumber Abadi dalam proses distribusi. Oleh karena itu,metode perhitungan lot sizing menggunakan Silver Meal diterapkan untuk mengoptimalkan ukuran lot pemesanan yang efektif dan efisien. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) mampu mengurangi biaya distribusi secara signifikan melalui perencanaan jadwal pengiriman yang lebih teratur.Selain itu, metode Silver Meal berhasil mengurangi biaya penyimpanan dengan menentukan ukuran lot optimal sesuai dengan permintaan tiap periode. Dengan metode Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) biaya distribusi produk minyak goreng FERMINA mendapat penurunan biaya distribusi sebesar 22 % daripada sistem yang dilakukan CV. Berkah Sumber Abadi. Total biaya distribusi yang dikeluarkan saat menggunakan metode perusahaan sebesar Rp. 68.760.000 , sedangkan saat menggunakan metode Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) sebesar Rp. 53.500.000.
