Abstract

Convection is an industry that operates in the production of clothing. The progress of this industry is increasingly developing, which is marked by the increasing number of existing business actors. This has led to increasingly fierce competition, including Zaya Konveksi. Sales of Zaya Konveksi products have decreased, causing the income to continue to decline. As technology develops, product purchases can be made via e-commerce. This can be used as the right solution to deal with problems at Zaya Konveksi. However, its implementation requires detailed analysis of consumer characteristics and existing market segmentation. Therefore, the method used in this research is K-Means Clustering. This method is used to group consumers who have the same characteristics into several clusters. Based on the calculation results, advertising will be carried out on the platform, namely, Instagram ads. The target consumer for cluster_0 is the age range 22 – 27 with female gender located in Gresik Regency and the product that will be displayed in the advertisement is a black t-shirt. For Cluster_1 the age range used is 16 – 21 years with female gender located in Sidoarjo Regency and the product is a yellow hoodie. For cluster_2, the age range used is 16 – 21 years with female gender located in Sidoarjo Regency, and the products that will be used in advertising are hoodies and raglans in blue.
