Abstract

CV. Multikarya Esanugrah is a manufacturing company engaged in the field of Offset Printing, producing packaging boxes and operating on a Make To Order (MTO) basis with a production capacity of approximately 15,000 sheets per day. The problem at this company lies with the Heidelberg SM72-FP Printing Machine, which often experiences downtime several times a day due to machine malfunctions, requiring lengthy repair processes. This is caused by suboptimal maintenance factors. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the effectiveness of the Heidelberg SM72-FP machine at CV. Multikarya Esanugrah to identify and reduce the factors causing downtime that affect productivity using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Six Big Losses methods. This analysis also includes the use of Pareto and fishbone diagrams to determine repair priorities and the main causes of downtime. The proposed strategies include focused maintenance and autonomous maintenance in the form of maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and routine checks on the Heidelberg SM72-FP machine. The research results show that the average OEE value before implementation was 73.30%, below the JIPM standard of 85%. The dominant factor causing losses is reduced speed losses (12.63%). After the implementation of the maintenance strategy, the OEE value increased to 75.25%. Thus, the company's productivity shows an OEE improvement of 1.95%.
