Abstract
In the modern era, aquarium keeping, particularly of chef goldfish, has evolved to be more than just a hobby. Goldfish require stable environmental conditions, especially water temperature and turbidity, which directly affect their health. Manual monitoring is often ineffective, so sophisticated automated solutions are needed. Sensor technology enables more accurate measurements, but challenges arise in interpreting and responding to the data effectively. Fuzzy logic offers a potential solution in this context. This research aims to develop a fuzzy logic-based aquarium monitoring system that integrates temperature and turbidity sensors for the rearing of chef carp. The system is designed to be not only accurate in measuring aquarium parameters, but also capable of responding to changing conditions automatically, similar to human decisions. This research aims to reduce the burden on aquarium owners in daily monitoring and improve the quality of life of the goldfish through controlling two pumps to drain and fill water. Experiments were conducted in a controlled aquarium, with the DS18B20 sensor showing an average error of 5% and 95% accuracy in temperature measurement, and the SKU SEN0189 sensor with an average error of 10% and 90% accuracy for water turbidity. The results are expected to provide new insights into the application of fuzzy logic in aquarium monitoring and provide technological solutions for aquarium owners.
