Abstract
Acute Respiratory Infection (ARI) is an acute infection that affects one component of the respiratory tract. Mainly the upper respiratory tract including the nose, sinuses, pharynx and larynx. This infection can cause a number of symptoms, ranging from coughing, runny nose, and fever. In this case study, to facilitate early detection or analysis of the disease, the authors created a website for the Expert System for ARI Disease prediction using the Certainty Factor (CF) Method so that it can assist in data collection and analysis of ARI diseases, so that health centers can make better planning and decision making related to overcoming these diseases and providing solutions. In addition, health centers can also increase community involvement in ARI disease prevention efforts. The Certainty Factor (CF) method is a method used to determine the level of confidence of ARI disease experts in a problem. With the Certainty Factor Method, the level of expert confidence in existing diseases can be explained.
