Abstract

This research discusses the development of an automatic bell system to improve time management and provide class schedule reminders in a school environment. The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller, a DFPlayer Mini audio module, and integrates with Firebase services to create an effective and innovative solution. The research focuses on the design and implementation of the automatic bell system, integrating the audio module for audio variations, and the development of an Android application as a user interface. Problem constraints are applied to maintain research focus related to usage, types of audio, and resource availability. The research objectives include creating time-based automatic reminders, enhancing students' learning experiences, and providing an effective solution for time management in schools. By leveraging the theoretical foundation involving the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT), this system not only provides automatic reminders but also introduces internet connectivity for remote management and monitoring. The benefits of this research include increased knowledge and practical skills for the author as well as optimized time management and enhanced learning experiences for students in the school environment. Thus, this research not only creates an automated schedule reminder solution but also unlocks the full potential of the automatic bell system within the context of the Internet of Things in the field of education.
