Abstract

Ahmad Ardi Susanto, 2023, The Influence of Work Culture, Work Competence, and Work Commitment on Employee Performance at PT Pelindo Tanjung Perak Surabaya, Dra. Ratnaningsih Sri Yustini, MM, 103 pages + xii This study aims to determine the impact of work culture, work competence, and work commitment on employee performance at PT Pelindo Tanjung Perak Surabaya. The hypothesis in this study is that work culture, work competence, and work commitment simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Pelindo Tanjung Perak Surabaya The research method used is a quantitative approach, a type of survey method. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. The subjects used in this study were employees of PT. Pelindo Tanjung Perak Surabaya. The employees who were respondents in this study were the operational division with a total population of 600 people. Samples of research respondents were taken using the simple random sampling method of probability sampling. The sample used in this study amounted to 86 people. Data collection techniques are carried out through questionnaires / questionnaires. The measurement scale used in this study is the Likert scale. The research data was processed using IBM SPSS Statistics 20 software. The results of the study show that (1) the work culture variable (X1) has an effect on the employee performance variables at PT. Pelindo III Tanjung Perak Surabaya (Y) with a t count of 5.916. (2) Competency variable (X2) has an effect on employee performance variable at PT. Pelindo III Tanjung Perak Surabaya (Y) with a t count of 2,960. (3) Commitment variable (X3) has an effect on employee performance variable at PT. Pelindo III Tanjung Perak Surabaya (Y) with a t count of 3.347. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the variables of work culture (X1), competence (X2), and commitment (X3) simultaneously affect the performance variables of employees of PT. Pelindo III Tanjung Perak Surabaya (Y). Suggestions for companies, it is hoped that they will further improve employee performance through work culture, competence and commitment, because research proves that work culture, competence and work commitment can affect employee performance both individually and collectively.
