Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of public relations of PT Kencana Maju Bersama in implementing Corporate Social Responsibilty (CSR) activities in community empowerment. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. This research uses data collection techniques by means of interviews, observation, and documentation, with informants namely public relations of PT Kencana Maju Bersama. The results showed that the public relations of PT Kencana Maju Bersama has an important role in the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibilty (CSR). PT Kencana Maju Bersama's public relations carry out four roles, namely; the role of public relations as an expert advisor, the role of public relations as a communication facilitator, the role of public relations as a problem�solving process, and the role of public relations as a communication technician. The implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has also implemented the triple bottom line principle. Based on the findings of the researchers, it can be concluded that public relations has an important role in the implementation of CSR programs, and public relations has carried out the roles of public relations well, and also implemented the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the work of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
