Abstract

In the development of a country there are several factors that need to be addressed, one of the factors that should be discussed is the human resources in the country. To realize and increase human resources, it requires efforts to cultivate spirit, attitude, behavior as well as capabilities in the field of entrepreneurship of Indonesian human resources. The phenomenon of low interest in entrepreneurship of young people or in particular alumni and students in Indonesia still very low. The interests of students and their knowledge of entrepreneurship are expected to shape their tendency to open up new in the future. In addition to the supply of entrepreneurial knowledge obtained from colleges, the socio-economic suitability of the elderly and promising financial prospects must be linked to the interests of the entrepreneur. Based on the above findings, the author is interested to better understand whether the differences in understanding entrepreneurship, socio-economic parents and income expectations are also entrepreneurial interests of students of the University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya and University Students Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. This type of research uses quantitative methods with a sample of 96 respondents who are students of business administration universities of Surabaya and Dr. Soetomo University of Surabaya who have completed business administration courses. Then the collected data is analyzed using independent analysis of test samples. The results of this survey show that the variables Entrepreneurship Understanding, Social Economics of Parents, Income Expectations and Entrepreneurial Interests did not find any difference in Entrepreneurhood Understanding of Business Administration Students of the University of 17 August 1945 in Surabaya with the Students in Business Administration of Dr. Soetomo Surabaya University.
