Abstract

This study aims to explain the form of legal protection for Hajj and Umrah travel agency users as a result of the failure to depart prospective Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and the form of responsibility of the travel agency as the organizer of the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage for the failed departure of prospective Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. The method used is a normative legal research method using a statutory approach and a case approach. This research comes from primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary materials. The results of this research show that the form of legal protection for service bureau users has been regulated in Law Number 13 of 2008 concerning the Implementation of the Hajj and Religious Materials Regulations Number 8 of 2008. 2018. That the form of accountability given by the service bureau to one of its consumers is in accordance with the provisions of Article 19 of Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection.
