Abstract
Fulfillment of the rights of service users for services provided by service providers is an obligation that must be accepted considering that service users have provided fees or costs. Service providers must provide appropriate and appropriate services to service users and must minimize negligence which can result in legal consequences in the form of sanctions and fines. Failure to fulfill the performance of this service user constitutes a default in accordance with Article 1365 of the Civil Code. Compensation for losses experienced by consumers by business actors can take the form of material compensation and better service considering that it is the business actor's obligation to guarantee the fulfillment of achievements to its consumers, so they must be prepared if their achievements are not met, they must be obliged to provide compensation. This research uses normative legal research methods which are carried out by searching and researching library materials or secondary data, finding legal principles which are then analyzed to provide answers to the issues being researched. Fulfillment of the rights and obligations of compensation by business actors is stated in the Consumer Protection Law. Thus, the principle of consumer protection which includes the right to obtain compensation for losses experienced is very important in maintaining balance and justice between consumers and business actors. Clear and firm regulations regarding rights and obligations in this case provide protection for consumers and encourage responsible business practices and strengthen public trust in the products and services offered by business actors.
