Abstract
This study aims to measure the impact of engagement with the Instagram account @kelurahanpradahkalikendal on fulfilling information needs. This research employs a quantitative method. The number of respondents in this study is 100, who are followers of the Instagram account @kelurahanpradahkalikendal. The researcher used probability sampling techniques for sample selection. The data in this study include primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from questionnaires distributed to the followers of the Instagram account @kelurahanpradahkalikendal. Secondary data were sourced from books, electronic documents, journals, and other relevant literature. The theories used in this research are the S-R (Stimulus-Response) Media Effect Theory and the Uses and Effects Theory, which explain the relationship between mass communication through media and its effects on users. The results of this study indicate that engagement with the Instagram account @kelurahanpradahkalikendal impacts fulfilling information needs, with a percentage result of 89.4%, and the remaining 10.6% influenced by other factors not studied. Hypothesis testing revealed that the use of Instagram @kelurahanpradahkalikendal significantly affects the fulfillment of information needs.
