Abstract
This research discusses the influence of online video content on students' attitudes towards premarital sex, with a focus on Korean dramas that contain elements of sex scenes. Korean dramas, or drakor, have become one of the most popular contents on streaming platforms such as Netflix, which attracts great interest from viewers in Indonesia, especially from Gen Z. This research uses a quantitative approach with the type of explanatory research on students at the University of Surabaya (Untag Surabaya) on August 17, 1945. The research sample was selected based on the criteria of active online media users, especially Korean drama streaming videos. Data was collected using a questionnaire covering aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and responses regarding premarital sex, as well as its impact on daily life. This research uses construct validity and Cronbach alpha reliability. The results of this research showed that Korean dramas containing sex scenes only affected 1% of respondents. Respondents already have an attitude of rejecting premarital sex, even though they are not exposed to sexual content in Korean dramas. According to the results of research conducted by researchers, exposure to sex scenes in Korean dramas did not have an influence on the attitudes toward premarital sex of Untag Surabaya Communication Science students.
