Abstract
In the aspect of fish farming with Internet of Things (IoT) technology, it provides convenience for feeding activities in general, such as the creation of an automatic fish feeding device using Internet of Things (IoT) that is operated or monitored through Blynk. Internet of Things (IoT) can be utilized for its functionality and has the advantage of accessing in real-time when there is internet access. In the monitoring process, the NodeMCU module integrated with the WiFi ESP8266 module can be used, which can be programmed through the Arduino IDE. For monitoring the remaining fish feed, an ultrasonic sensor can be used as a medium for monitoring fish feed. By employing a processing method divided into several stages, including data collection, designing a system that suits the conditions needed for fish, followed by the implementation and testing of the designed system, and finally, analyzing the results of the tool's performance after testing for further evaluation to determine its effectiveness in fish feeding. The purpose of creating this device is to facilitate the fish feeding process, making the dosage of the provided feed more measurable. Additionally, it provides convenience by utilizing Blynk as a driving or monitoring tool to understand the condition of the created device. The result of creating this automatic fish feeding device is the success of the ultrasonic sensor in reading objects, achieving a 96.5% accuracy, and manually weighing the fish feed, which yielded a 98.7% accuracy in measuring the weight of the feed with smooth operation and minimal error.
