Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of variable income, operational costs, and non-business costs on profitability in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. It is known that the independent variable is revenue, operating costs, and non-business costs while the dependent variable is profitability. This type of research is using a quantitative research approach. The data used is secondary data. The method of data collection is by documentation method from IDX sites through www.idx.co.id and each company's website. The sampling method uses the purposive sampling method. The analytical tool used in this study is the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) program. The technical analysis used is multiple linear regression analysis to test hypotheses. While the classical assumption test used is the normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test. The results of the classical assumption test show that this study has fulfilled, among others, the normally distributed linear regression model, that there is no multicollinearity in each variable, there are no symptoms of heteroskedasticity and there is no autocorrelation or free from autocorrelation symptoms. The findings of the analysis concluded that according to the results of the simultaneous test (F test), the variables of revenue, operating costs, and costs outside the business obtained a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05, so that it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the Company's Profitability.
