Abstract
The transmission system is the phase of distributing electrical energy from the generator to the substation to the distribution system. During the energy distribution process, voltage regulation becomes critical to ensure operational continuity and prevent potential damage to electrical equipment due to voltages that exceed safe limits. Power losses can occur due to various factors, including corona factor, insulator leakage, and transmission distance. The manual calculation approach involves taking notes of current and voltage values that change every day at 14.00 WIB for one month. The transmission network uses ACSR type conductor wire with Dove type dimensions of 327.77 mm2 and a line length of 251 km, with a resistance of 0.1024 Ω/Km. Based on the results of manual calculations, the voltage regulation percentage during August 2023 remains within safe limits, not exceeding 10%. The highest power losses were recorded on 17 August 2023 amounting to 16.79 MW, while the lowest losses occurred on 9 August 2023 amounting to 6.01 MW. Total power losses for one month reached 272.92 MW, with average losses per day of 9.09 MW.
