Abstract

CV. Jaya Inti Karya Surabaya, located at Jl. Bratang Perintis V/11-a, Surabaya, is a company engaged in construction and supplier services. The high number of competitors, both domestic and international, urges a company to enhance synergy in achieving its goals. Employees are required to have good performance and competence based on skills to contribute to the company's development. This study aims to test and analyze the influence of work-life balance, work spirit, and workload on the performance of CV. Jaya Inti Karya Surabaya's employees. This research is a causal explanatory type, aiming to prove and analyze the causal relationship between two or more variables, where the independent variables are work-life balance, work spirit, and workload, while the dependent variable is employee performance. The population in this study consists of 53 employees, with a sample taken from the field department, totaling 42 employees. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires to field department employees. Data analysis in this study used SPSS version 25. The sampling technique used was saturation sampling. The data analysis techniques included validity testing, reliability testing, classic assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and determination coefficient analysis. The hypothesis tests used were t-tests and F-tests.The results of this research show that partially work-life balance and workload have a significant effect on employee performance, while work morale does not have a significant effect on employee performance. This can be seen based on the Sig value of the t test which shows the results that the Sig value of work-life balance is 0.000 < 0.05, the Sig value of work enthusiasm is 0.882 > 0.05 and the Sig value of workload is 0.003 < 0.05. Simultaneously, this research shows that work-life balance, work enthusiasm and workload simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance. This can be seen based on the results of the F test which shows that the sig value in the F test is 0.000. < 0.005. Keywords: work-life balance, work spirit, workload, employee performance.
