Abstract

As an internet network center at ITS, the Information Technology Security Infrastructure Sub Directorate (IKTI) at the Directorate of Information Technology and System Development deploys internet networks to each unit to support the business processes that are being carried out by each of these units. In each unit there is already a person in charge or usually called an IT Admin whose duty is to assist in the event of a network outage. During this time the network monitoring process is still done manually by waiting for complaints from others. Therefore, there is an indication of the need for internet network monitoring in real time and is integrated with the early warning system or with an existing warning system at ITS, namely the service desk application. The output proposed in this study is a web-based network monitoring application with a push notification service desk using the Simple Network Management Proctocol (SNMP) method. The hope with this application can help optimize the performance of IT admins in the process of monitoring the internet network at ITS.
