Abstract

UMKM Dua Putri is a home industry that produces typical Bawean fish crackers. This business has several products, namely Large Roasted Crackers weighing 30 grams, Small Roasted Crackers 140 grams, Original Leko Crackers 250 grams, and finally Leko Balado Crackers weighing 350 grams. The main difficulty in this research arose when UMKM cut crackers manually. These manual processes demand significant time and effort, leading to limited efficiency. These limitations can hamper production rates and have the potential to become obstacles to future business development. Even though UMKM have dough rolling machines and cracker roasting machines, problems still arise at the stage of cutting the prepared crackers. To meet increasing production needs, planning for additional cracker cutting machines is needed at UMKM Dua Putri. If this planning is realized, the time that usually takes around 3 hours to cut crackers will be shorter and not take as long. The aim of this research is to conduct an investment feasibility analysis as evidence or consideration of whether or not an investment is feasible with a machine age of 7 years. This investment requires capital by purchasing a cracker cutting machine at a price of Rp. 18,900,000. The calculations for this research use the NPV method with results of Rp. 55,792,001 (NPV>0), IRR with a result of 18.83% obtained IRR>the existing interest rate value, namely 12%, BCR value>1, then the BEP value shows that the return from investment results is proven for 2 years 4 day by data interpolation. From the results of these calculations, it can be concluded that this investment is feasible, which has been proven in the results of the investment feasibility analysis. This can be a consideration for companies or UMKM in future business continuity.
