Abstract

The concept of electronic governance is developed to fulfill the government's aim of managing and serving the public more efficiently, effectively, and transparently. Electronic governance involves the use of the internet to disseminate information and services related to the government to the general public. The Republic of Indonesia Act Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions paved the way for this concept. Several years later, in 2014, the Government Regulation Number 46 of 2014 concerning Health Information Systems was officially introduced. This regulation was further developed into the Minister of Health Regulation Number 55 of 2013 concerning Medical Record Management. The research method employed was qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research findings indicate that the implementation of e-health applications also aids healthcare center staff, making it easier for them to report monthly health data to the Surabaya City Health Office. Additionally, patient medical records are more accurate, and staff can create online referrals for patients in need.
