Abstract

Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang semakin maju telah menghasilkan banyak inovasi dalam memenuhi kebutuhan umat manusia. Salah satu bidang yang mengalami perkembangan pesat adalah teknologi robotik salah satunya robot penghindar halangan yang merupakan salah satu contoh perangkat yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan keselamatan dan efektivitas pekerjaan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sebuah robot penghindar rintangan yang menggunakan metode PID (Proporsional, Integral, dan Derivatif) dan sensor ultrasonik. Robot dirancang untuk secara otomatis mendeteksi dan menghindari rintangan di lingkungannya dengan menggunakan sensor ultrasonik untuk mengukur jarak antara robot dan objek yang ada. Metode PID digunakan untuk mengontrol pergerakan robot berdasarkan informasi yang diterima dari sensor ultrasonik dengan arduino Uno sebagai otak utama yang mengendalikan motor DC. Sensor ultrasonik digunakan untuk mengukur jarak antara robot dan rintangan di depannya. Data jarak yang diperoleh dari sensor ultrasonik kemudian diproses menggunakan metode PID untuk menghasilkan sinyal kendali yang mengatur kecepatan dan arah pergerakan robot. Robot dilengkapi dengan mekanisme penghindar rintangan yang memungkinkannya untuk mengubah arah pergerakansecara otomatis ketika mendeteksi adanya rintangan di depannya dengan pengujian dilakukan dalam berbagai skenario penghindaran rintangan. Hasil dari pengujian yangtelah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa robot mampu mendeteksi rintangan yang berbeda-beda dengan akurasi tinggi dan menghindarinya dengan sukses. Penggunaan metode PID dalam mengontrol pergerakan robot terbukti efektif dalam menjaga stabilitas dan akurasi pergerakan robot. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan teknologi robotika dan otomasi dengan menghadirkan sebuah robot penghindar rintangan yang dapat bergerak secara otomatis dan menghindari rintangandengan efektif
