Abstract
Transportation is basically the daily need for people to travel, transportation is also the answer to challenges in the development of advanced technology, which is always the main transportation effectiveness and efficiency in an effort to meet passenger transportation. The purpose of this study is in accordance with the formulation of the problem that has been described is to determine the effect of Working Hours, Tariffs, and Routes on the income of microbus drivers in the city of Surabaya. This type of research is quantitative using multiple linear regression analysis tools, t test, f test and the coefficient of determination. The number of samples used were 35 respondents. As for the variables that used in this study are working hours, tariffs, and routes as independent variables and income as the dependent variable. Based on multiple linear regression analysis, the results are as follows : Y =40.360,925 – 3.866,552 X1 + 9,741 X2 + 1.107,722 X3 + e. This means that the variables of working hours, fares, and routes have a positive effect on the income of angkot drivers in the city of Surabaya. The results of the t test show that working hours have a significant negative effect on the income of microbus drivers in the city of Surabaya. This can be proven in the t test which is known that t is obtained 0,527 with sig 0,032 < 0,05. The route variable has no significant effect on the income of microbus drivers in the city of Surabaya. This can be proven in the t test which shows that t is 0.665 with sig 0.511 > 0.05. The results of the F test show that working hours, fares, and routes together have a significant effect on the income of microbus drivers in the city of Surabaya. This can be proven by F = 43.363 with sig = 0.000 <0.05. The multiple coefficient value (R²) obtained R is 0.899, which means that the contribution of the influence of the independent variable (X1), fare (X2), and route (X3) to the dependent variable income (Y) is worth 78.9%, while the remaining is 21 .1% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
