Abstract

Jalan raya merupakan fasilitas yang penting bagi masyarakat agar dapat mencapai suatu tujuan yang diinginkannya, untuk itu masyarakat membutuhkan jalan raya yang aman dan nyaman bagi penggunanya, serta diharapkan dapat meningkatkan perindustrian dan perekonomian masyarakat tersebut. Namun seiring berjalannya waktu jalan raya akan mengalami penurunan kondisi sesuai dengan bertambahnya umur dari jalan tersebut sehingga akan menjadi suatu hambatan dalam kelancaran suatu perjalanan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi kerusakan permukaan perkerasan lentur yang terjadi di Jl. Raya Dumaja – Jl. Raya Tanah Merah, Kab. Bangkalan. Metode yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini adalah metode PCI (Pavement Condition Index) sebagai penilaian kondisi perkerasan jalan berdasarkan jenis, tingkat dan luas kerusakan yang terjadi dan dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dan usaha pemeliharaan. Hasil dari penelitian pada ruas Jl. Raya Dumaja -Jl. Raya Tanah Merah STA 32+000- 35+000 berdasarkan metode PCI mendapatkan nilai total sebesar 53,68 Sedang (Fair) dengan nilai PCI presentase kondisi jalan yang tertinggi adalah 45% pada kondisi jalan Bagus (Good), 38,3% pada kondisi jalan Sedang (Fair), 15% pada kondisi jalan Buruk (Poor) dan Sangat Bagus (Very Poor), 1,67% dengan alternatif penanganannya adalah penanganan rehabilitas .
