Abstract

Education plays an important role in the development of the nation so that the problem of education always gets special attention. Education is one of the main problems for the Indonesian people. In the development process, how can the nation continue to maintain and develop the noble values of its nation, so that these noble values are still owned by the Indonesian people as a form of the nation's personality. In connection with this, of course, it cannot be separated from educational obstacles, but it can be learned by learning from the past. How to solve educational problems from the past is a significant contribution to solving educational problems today. Then to find out the barriers to education can be learned from the history of good and high value education. Then in the history of education it is said: Whoever wantsto understand the present situation and strives to achieve it, should know from the things of the past. (Djunhur, 1976:2). Based on the opinion above, past history can be used as a race in the present and in the future. Kediri Regency is a design location that is in accordance with the criteria, conditions and circumstances as well as community needs for religious education needs. Existing Conditions Explaining specifically the condition of religious education in Kediri Regency, which is sourced from various journal literature, and various existing news so that they can formulate the existing conditions. City Potential Explains the potential for the number of students each year in order to provide Islamic boarding school facilities that can increase the potential of human resources in Kediri district. Strategic Issues Explaining issues circulating in the community that urge the government to provide proper Islamic boarding schools facilities and meet the increasing needs of students. The analysis is the result of the designer's analysis both in terms of the analysis of the space in the building, as well as the outer space. The title is the idea of the existing problem, in the form of a sentence consisting of action, function and location, in this case the author's title is DESIGN OF A MODERN BOARDING SCHOOL IN KEDIRI REGENCY. Legal Aspect 20 This is a Kediri district government regulation regarding matters relating to long-term education development. 1. There is no proper place for the santri in the district of Kediri 2. The increase in the number of santri in the district of Kediri 3. The pressure on the government of the district of Kediri to provide a suitable accommodation for the students of Kediri The conclusion of the modern theme is the formation of a dynamic building, mass compositions are formal (box) but can combine several basic forms and apply technology and material systems that are environmentally friendly.
