Abstract

ABSTRAK Perkembangan UMKM merupakan suatu proses yang sangat baik dalam membawa suatu bangsa menuju kemakmuran. Perkembangan Usaha kecil dan menengah juga mampu memperluas lapangan pekerjaan dan memanfaatkan potensi sumber daya alam maupun sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada sektor Usaha Kecil dan menengah di wilayah Sidoarjo dimana di daerah ini masih sangat potensial sekali dalam hal pengembangan sentra industri kecil dan menengah, baik industri rumah tangga maupun usaha kecil, adanya pandemi ini mengontraksi ekonomi Jatim yang lebih dari 30 persen strukturnya ditopang oleh sektor industri. Mayoritas industri itu berada di Sidoarjo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah intuk menganalisis pengaruh teknologi infomasi dan karakteristik sistem informasi akuntansi manajemen terhadap perkembangan UMKM di Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah usaha kecil mikro dan menengah yang tersebar di Kabupaten Sidoarjo (Dinas Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil Menengah Propinsi Jawa Timur) yaitu sebanyak 218 unit. Teknik sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu penarikan sampel berdasarkan kriteria�kriteria yang dimiliki yaitu sebanyak 69 responden. Data yang dipergunakan adalah data primer yaitu data yang berdasarkan kuisioner hasil jawaban responden. Sedangkan analisis yang dipergunakan adalah dengan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian adalah sebegai berikut: 1. Bahwa secara parsial variabel teknologi informasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan UMKM di Kabupaten Sidoarjo, sedangkan variabel karakteristik sistem informasi akuntansi manajemen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan UMKM di Kabupaten Sidoarjo.
