Abstract

LLC (Live Line Connector) is one of the connectors used by PDKB for jumper connection work, PDKB in any unit uses LLC as a jumper connector in addition to using LTC (Line Tap Connector) as a jumper connector. The connector connection point on main line is very dependent on the maintenance routines carried out by the PDKB personnel themselves. It is not uncommon to lose contact on the LLC connector which results in the breaking of the feeder. To replace LLC to LTC, the current method is to remove the jumper and then replace the connector to LTC, where the weakness of this method is that it definitely requires a power outage on the branch line.Sometimes the replacement of the LLC to LTC connector is done because there will be an additional network / load so thatit requires a blackout at the feeder for which the connector will be replaced. The second problem is the absence of a tool that functions as a jumper holder, where in thr work of replacing lost contact jumpers and the double jumper process, they ofthen experience difficulties in their implementation.The current method is to use a wire to thold the jumper conductor to tie the jumper conductor to the Insulating Hanger, this method is very dangerous for the PDKB linesman because the jumper conductor is very risky to be separated from the bond The third problem is the work of replacing the fuse link on the CO Branch requires a long By Pass Jumper method and requires cutting the jumper of the three phases, so it automatically takes a long time and quite a lot of equipment in the implementation process. The next problem is that the current cable stripper is very expensive and less flexible in its use because each PDKB (direct touch or distance method) requires its own stripper.
