Abstract

This thesis discusses about conflict in Roshani Chokshi’s A Crown of Wishes. This thesis tells about the conflict of Ghauri who has a desire to be queen of Bharata Kingdom. The study is aims to answer two point: the conflict of Ghauri conflict and how Ghauri’s solve her conflicts. The approach adopted in this study are the intrinsic approach. In intrinsic approach applied in this study is conflict. Roshani Chokshi’s A Crown of Wishes is used as the source of the data of the research. The writer obtains the data from quotation in the novel which support the analysis. The qualitative research is applied in this study. Based on the analysis the writer conclude that Ghauri has a desire to take throne of Bharata which rises internal and external conflict through her life. Her own desire brings her to conflict which makes her must solve it. Conflict is a problem that every person always meet. Conflict is hard but must solve it. Conflict makes a person became stronger and has better life
