Abstract

Pantai Gemah yang terletak di Kabupaten Tulungagung, Jawa Timur, merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata yang memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan, terutama setelah terhubung dengan Jalur Lintas Selatan (JLS), yang semakin memudahkan aksesibilitas pengunjung dari berbagai wilayah. Meskipun memiliki keindahan alam yang menawan, fasilitas yang ada di Pantai Gemah masih terbatas dan belum sepenuhnya dapat mendukung kenyamanan serta kebutuhan wisatawan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang redesain kawasan wisata Pantai Gemah dengan fokus pada peningkatan kualitas fasilitas yang ada, kenyamanan pengunjung, serta keberlanjutan lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam dengan pengunjung dan pengelola, serta analisis dokumen terkait yang berkaitan dengan tata ruang dan potensi wisata yang ada. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menggunakan analisis SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang dimiliki oleh kawasan wisata Pantai Gemah. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun Pantai Gemah memiliki berbagai fasilitas pendukung seperti toilet, musholla, warung makan, parkir, dan area camping, beberapa fasilitas tersebut masih membutuhkan perbaikan dan pengembangan agar lebih mampu memenuhi kebutuhan wisatawan dengan lebih baik. Desain ulang yang diusulkan mengintegrasikan berbagai elemen, antara lain elemen budaya lokal Tulungagung, konsep keberlanjutan lingkungan, dan pengalaman interaktif bagi pengunjung yang menitikberatkan pada kenyamanan dan keindahan alam sekitar. Konsep desain ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi sektor pariwisata di Kabupaten Tulungagung, khususnya Pantai Gemah, dengan meningkatkan daya tarik wisata, memperbaiki kualitas fasilitas, serta memberikan manfaat ekonomi bagi masyarakat setempat. Selain itu, redesain ini juga bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi yang ada dengan tetap menjaga kelestarian lingkungan dan nilai-nilai budaya yang ada di sekitar pantai. Dengan adanya redesain ini, diharapkan Pantai Gemah tidak hanya menjadi tujuan wisata yang menarik, tetapi juga dapat mendukung pengembangan ekonomi lokal serta menciptakan destinasi wisata yang berkelanjutan untuk jangka panjang. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengelola pantai, pemangku kepentingan, dan pihak terkait dalam pengembangan dan pengelolaan kawasan wisata Pantai Gemah.
