Abstract

This research investigates the use of Up-Selling and Cross-Selling in developing a Web-Based Sales Information System for Toko Shoft Roti, an MSME in the bakery industry. In today's rapidly evolving technological landscape, efficient information systems are crucial for MSMEs to stay competitive. Upselling is persuading clients to buy more expensive goods or services, while Cross�Selling suggests additional or related products. These strategies have the potential to boost transaction value and strengthen customer relationships. This study's objective is to address the difficulties of implementing Up-Selling and Cross-Selling in MSME bakeries by designing and deploying an effective web-based sales system. The research questions focus on the effectiveness of these strategies in enhancing sales and customer relationships, the impact of the web-based sales system on the sales performance of Toko Shoft Roti, and the implementation of these strategies in the bakery. The study is constrained to using Iterative and Incremental methods in system development. The findings are expected to promote the adoption of digital tools by sellers and positively affect Toko Shoft Roti. This research is highly relevant to MSME bakeries and is vital vital to increase MSME ability to compete in the digital era.
