Abstract

Masa dewasa awal merupakan fase penting dalam perkembangan individu yang ditandai dengan pencarian identitas, penetapan karier, dan pembentukan hubungan jangka panjang seperti pernikahan. Seiring perubahan sosial dan budaya, semakin banyak wanita dewasa awal yang memilih untuk menunda atau tidak menikah, yang berpotensi memunculkan perasaan kesepian (loneliness). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara coping stress dan social support dengan loneliness pada wanita dewasa awal yang belum menikah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi Spearman Rho. Sampel terdiri dari 159 responden wanita dewasa awal yang belum menikah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan signifikan antara coping stress dengan loneliness (r = 0,755; p < 0,01), serta hubungan yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara social support dengan loneliness (r = 0,804; p < 0,01). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa baik coping stress maupun social support memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan dengan loneliness. Semakin tinggi coping stress dan social support yang dimiliki individu, semakin tinggi pula tingkat kesepian yang dirasakan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa kualitas strategi koping dan bentuk dukungan sosial yang diterima berperan penting dalam pengalaman kesepian wanita dewasa awal yang belum menikah.
