Abstract
PT is a company engaged in the metaltvorking industry, including punching, pressing, bending, and the production of accessories and spare parts. One of its continuously produced poducts is the Spring Seat B. This study analyzes the feasibility ofimesting in a new stanping machine with a 63-ton press capacity to improve the production pmcess of Spring Seat B at PT ATZ, located in Kampung Logam, Ngingas, Waru. The current production faces a bottleneck in the punching process due to the Old stamping machine, which only produces 4,000 units per day, resulting in unmet production capacity and the need for overtime. To overcome this issue, PT XYZ purchased a new 63-ton stamping machine costing Rp. 65.257.000. This study aims to assess the investment feasibility through Payback Period and Break-Even Point (BEP) analysis. The Payback Period found to be 68 days, while the BEP calculation showed that the Company must produce 539,916 units to leach the bleak-even point. With the new machine, production capacity incæased to 8, 000 units per day. In 2025, the total production cost was RI). Il'ith total revenue of Rp. resulting in a net income ofRp.204, 987,414.08. Additionally, the facility layout for Spring Seat B production was optimized by relocating the rotary machine to the front area near the maintenance tools room, reducing the distance between the stamping machine, 10tary machine, and product treatment area.
