Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kontrol diri sebagai variabel moderasi pada pengaruh schadenfreude terhadap perilaku bullying siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP di Kota Surabaya, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 366 siswa. Penelitian ini dalam pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability sampling yaitu purpossive sampling.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan skala. Adapun teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu uji asumsi klasik, analisis deskripsi, uji korelasi, dan analisis regresi moderasi. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel schandenfreud dan perilaku bullying melalui kontrol diri, diperoleh nilai z = 1,792 dengan signifikansi sebesar p = 0,073 (p > 0,05). Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa variable kontrol diri mampu menjadi mediator pengaruh schandenfreud terhadap perilaku bullying. Hasil analasis menunjukkan hubungan langsung antara kontrol diri dengan perilaku bullying diperoleh nilai z = 3,129 dengan signifikansi sebesar p = 0,002 (p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kontrol diri dengan perilaku bullying memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Hasil analasis menunjukkan hubungan langsung antara schandenfreud dengan perilaku bullying, diperoleh nilai z = 9,751 dengan signifikansi sebesar p = 0,001 (p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa schandenfreud dengan perilaku bullying memiliki hubungan yang signifikan. Hasil analasis menunjukkan hubungan langsung antara schandenfreud dengan kontrol diri, diperoleh nilai z = 2,186 dengan signifikansi sebesar p = 0,029 (p < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa schandenfreud dengan kontrol diri memiliki hubungan yang signifikan.
