Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh empowerment leadership terhadap psychological empowerment dan work engagement pada karyawan Divisi SDM PT Perkebunan Nusantara 1 Regional 4 Surabaya. Dalam organisasi modern, rendahnya work engagement dapat berdampak negatif pada produktivitas dan loyalitas karyawan, sehingga diperlukan strategi kepemimpinan yang efektif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik survei melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 60 karyawan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan statistik untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa empowerment leadership tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap psychological empowerment. Namun, psychological empowerment berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap work engagement. Pengaruh langsung empowerment leadership terhadap work engagement juga signifikan, meskipun pengaruh tidak langsung melalui psychological empowerment tidak signifikan. Kesimpulannya, pemberdayaan psikologis memainkan peran penting dalam meningkatkan work engagement karyawan. Organisasi disarankan untuk memfokuskan strategi pada pemberdayaan psikologis dan penerapan kepemimpinan yang memberdayakan.
