Abstract

This study is motivated by the growing popularity of social media TikTok, particularly the account @ninazatulini22, which frequently influences the fashion styles of housewives. This phenomenon is relevant in the digital era, where fashion trends rapidly evolve through social media. The study aims to analyze imitation motif of clothing style TikTok’s influencer among housewives in Desa Delik Sumber. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, surveying 82 housewives selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression tests. The results show that TikTok @ninazatulini22 significantly influences the imitation behavior of housewives’ fashion styles. The significance test yielded t = 6.072 and p = 0.000, indicating a significant effect. The majority of respondents consider the fashion content of this account as their main inspiration for clothing choices. Social media TikTok, particularly influencer accounts, plays a crucial role in shaping housewives' fashion preferences in rural areas. This study provides insights into the social impact of social media on fashion trends.
