Abstract

Kesejahteraan subjektif merupakan indikator yang mencakup kepuasan hidup dan pengalaman emosi positif serta rendahnya emosi negatif. Polisi lalu lintas menghadapi tuntutan pekerjaan yang tinggi, seperti paparan stres, risiko kecelakaan, dan interaksi yang menantang dengan masyarakat. Faktor psikologis seperti optimisme dan dukungan social diduga berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan subjektif pada profesi ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara optimisme dan dukungan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara optimisme dan dukungan sosial dengan kesejahteraan subjektif being pada polisi lalu lintas. Subjek penelitian adalah 111 polisi lalu lintas di Jawa Timur yang dipilih menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Data diperoleh melalui skala optimisme, skala dukungan sosial, dan skala kesejahteraan subjektif, yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan korelasi rank spearman untuk menguji hubungan antara variabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimisme dan dukungan sosial memiliki hubungan positif yang signifikan dengan subjective well-being pada polisi lalu lintas. Hubungan yang signifikan antara optimisme dengan subjective well-being dengan nilai signifikansi 0.000 < 0.05, yang berarti optimisme berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan subjektif. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan subjective well-being dengan nilai signifikansi 0.011 < 0.05, namun berkorelasi negatif, artinya semakin tinggi dukungan sosial maka semakin rendah kesejahteraan subjektif individu.
