Abstract

The Type B Bangkalan Terminal which currently serves AKAP and AKDP fleets has problems, namely in the main and supporting facilities and infrastructure at the terminal because it has not met the SPM in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 40 of 2015 concerning Service Standards for the Implementation of Road Transportation Passenger Terminals, the flow of passenger and transportation movements in the terminal which is still not organized and separated is a problem that can threaten the safety of terminal users. Based on the problems above, it is deemed necessary to conduct an analysis of improving terminal service performance using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method which includes analysis of existing conditions, analysis of service performance including facilities and circulation in the terminal, terminal redesign which aims to facilitate the transfer of passengers from one mode of transportation to another and accelerate the flow of passengers to the destination area by paying attention to aspects of security and comfort, SWOT analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the terminal and take advantage of existing opportunities. The results of the analysis show that Terminal Type B Kab. Bangkalan is currently not running according to its function. There is a conflict of movement circulation that occurs inside the terminal, many facilities are no longer suitable for use, safety and security aspects that have not been touched. After the analysis using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method, it is more focused on the factors that most influence the quality of passenger terminal services consisting of analysis of existing conditions, analysis of service performance including facilities and circulation in the terminal.
