Abstract

PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi pakan ternak, serta didirikan paada tahun 1997. Malindo beroperasi secara komersial di Indonesia sejak tahun 1998 dan telah berkembang menjadi salah satu pemain utama dalam industri perunggasan nasional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Peranan Pengendalian Intern Terhadap Sistem dan Prosedur Penagihan Piutang di PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk Gresik. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan cara mengumpulkan data secara lansung dari suatu objek serta gambaran dari perusahaan yang sesungguhnya terjadi yang akan diteliti sehingga memperoleh suatu data yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sumber data yang dipakai adalah data primer yaitu data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara oleh peneliti terhadap responden untuk menjawab masalah penelitian secara khusus. Informan dalam penelitian ini yang dapat dijadikan patokan untuk menggalih lebih dalam informasi terkait pengendalian intern dan prosedur penagihan piutang adalah bagian akuntansi, bagian penagihan, bagian penjualan, dan bagian kasir. Hasil analisis atas temuan dan data menyimpulkan bahwa PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk sudah menerapkan beberapa komponen kebijakan dalam pengendalian intern yang cukup baik terhadap proses penjualannya. Ada beberapa hal penting dalam pengendalian intern yang cukup penting bagi perusahaan seperti pemisahan tugas untuk meminimalisir kecurangan, sistem informasi akuntansi untuk memudahkan dalam mengidentifikasi piutang, monitoring dan evaluasi untuk memastikan bahwa tim tersebut sudah mematuhi prosedur yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan
