Abstract

Pariwisata Indonesia belakangan ini sedang mengalami tahap pengembangan. Apalagi dengan adanya program Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif yaitu 10 Bali Baru, menjadikan Bali semakin unggul ketenarannya. Destinasi pariwisata lain yang terinspirasi pulau Bali menjadikan wisatawan semakin menyorot Pulau Bali sebagai Pulau yang indah wajib dikunjungi. Sesuai dengan UU No 10 Tahun 2009 adanya daya tarik wisata pada suatu daerah memberikan keuntungan, komunikasi berperan penting untuk membangun relasi dengan komunitas lokal agar warga sekitar dan wisatawan memberikan respon berupa dukungan terhadap kegiatan individu atau komunitas. Penelitian ini berfokus pada komunikasi pariwisata berbasis kearifan lokal. Komunikasi pariwisata diperlukan agar peneliti terlibat dengan masyarakat untuk mengkomunikasikan potensi pariwisata. Literatur yang digunakan adalah proses komunikasi pariwisata dan Community Based Tourism (CBT), menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, di mana difokuskan pada fenomena komunikasi pariwisata yang ada di Desa Wisata Sanur Kauh. Hasil penelitian berbagai peran sebagai komunikator utama dan pendukung dalam proses penyampaikan pesan pariwisata kepada wisatawan. Komunikator utama dilakukan oleh Pengelola Desa Wisata Sanur Kauh untuk komunikasi secara tatap muka karangtaruna melalui media online dan pertunjukan. Lalu komunikator pendukung melibatkan pedagang sekitar pantai Mertasari, pemilik warung dan wisatawan. Pengembangan Desa Wisata Sanur Kauh telah memenuhi tiga aspek CBT (pariwisata, manfaat dan partisipasi masyarakat).
