Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-compassion dengan loneliness pada mahasiswa perantau di Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan dengan korelasional. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 117 mahasiswa perantau yang di ambil menggunakan Teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu skala Self Compassion Scale dengan 21 item dan skala Loneliness Scale dengan 20 item yang telah di uji validitas dan realibilitasnya. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berbasis skala likert untuk mengukur self-compassion dan Loneliness. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Teknik korelasi Spearman Rho dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS 26.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara self-compassion dengan loneliness pada mahasiswa perantau di Surabaya. Meskipun demikian self-compassion tetap dianggap sebagai salah satu faktor penting dalam mendukung kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa perantau
