Abstract

potential but boasts a strategic location. This presents a challenge for Madiun City to continuously innovate and develop its tourism appeal. In addition to innovating urban tourism development, one of the efforts undertaken by Disbudparpora of Madiun City is organizing the Parade Senja event. The Parade Senja serves as a potential tourist attraction, but to gain wider recognition among the public, it requires effective promotion by relevant stakeholders. This study aims to analyze the tourism promotion strategies implemented by Disbudparpora Madiun City to increase tourist visits through the Parade Senja event. The research adopts a qualitative approach with an exploratory type of study. From the analysis of the findings, it was discovered that Disbudparpora Madiun City has applied promotional mix elements, including advertising, public relations, and word-of mouth communication. These efforts are further supported by the application of the AIDA theory.
