Abstract

Psychological well-being is an important aspect for students. Students with good psychological well-being tend to feel content and happy in their lives. This study aims to analyze the relationship between self-regulated learning and psychological well-being among junior high school students. The research focuses on the importance of self-regulated learning as an internal factor influencing students’ psychological well-being, where students are expected to manage their own learning processes to achieve optimal outcomes. The research method used is quantitative correlational, involving 260 respondents selected using a stratified random sampling technique. Data collection instruments include participant observation and two scales: the self-regulated learning scale and the psychological well-being scale. The relationship between self-regulated learning and psychological well-being is positive, meaning that the higher the students’ self-regulated learning, the higher their psychological well-being. Thus, the hypothesis of this study is accepted, indicating a positive relationship between self-regulated learning and psychological well-being among junior high school students.
