Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara Emotional Eating dengan stres akademik pada mahasiswa. Salah satu perilaku makan berisiko yang umum ditemui di kalangan mahasiswa Indonesia adalah Emotional Eating, yaitu perilaku makan yang dipicu oleh emosi negatif, seperti stres. Stres akademik, yang sering dialami oleh mahasiswa, menjadi fokus utama dalam penelitian ini. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 145 mahasiswa aktif dengan rentang usia 19-23 tahun. Untuk mengukur stres akademik, digunakan skala Perceived Sources of Academic Stress, sementara Emotional Eating diukur melalui sub-skala Emotional Eating dari Dutch Eating Behavior Questionnaire. Data dianalisis dengan metode Spearman's rho menggunakan program Jamovi 2.2.5. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya korelasi positif yang signifikan antara stres akademik dan Emotional Eating (r=0,276; p< 0,001), yang berarti semakin besar tingkat stres akademik yang dialami, semakin tinggi pula kecenderungan untuk melakukan Emotional Eating. Fenomena perilaku makan yang berisiko ini sering kali tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan tubuh, yang pada gilirannya dapat berdampak negatif bagi kesehatan.
